Scholarships
Wells Aircraft is can provide you with the resources you need to find flight training scholarships.
Local Scholarships
The Hutchinson Area Aviators Club and the Hutchinson Airport Advisory board have established a
scholarship fund to stimulate interest in aviation and learning to fly in the Hutchinson area.
Each organization will offer one scholarship to an individual that is interested in learning to
fly. The scholarship is intended to pay for Ground School classes at Wells Aircraft (one night
a week for approximately 9 weeks), the required books and materials for the class, and an
introductory flight lesson in a Cessna 172 or similar with a FAA Certified Flight Instructor
at Wells Aircraft. The individual must complete the ground school sessions before taking the
introductory flight.
The 2012 scholarship now open
The deadline for the 2012 Ground School scholarship is January 1, 2012.
